John and co were fantastic, overcoming some tricky obstacles to get our NBN router moved to a better location, and then wiring in ethernet for a number of rooms. As we'd just moved in, I'd also requested an inspection - they did a thorough job and identified a few quirks with the wiring that were helpful to know about, and helped us update our board to improve safety (and ease future expansion as we've got some renos planned). Punctual, thorough yet efficient, clean, and good friendly comms. Even followed up later to swap out a breaker that had been incorrectly oversized on the original board. Highly recommended.

Yesterday I had to call to John at the end of the day for an emergency repair, a total blackout. I had just received his number through someone in a local group, where he was highly recommended. First good surprise is that he actually picked up the phone straight away, as not all professionals would do it! He offered to debrief the problem by phone, for free, in case his help wouldn't be needed. As it was needed, he gave a quote over the phone. I would have preferred him to mention it was before GST, as the price went from $250 to $275, and listed $230 on their website. A bit disappointing. He arrived within half an hour, as promised, which was important for me as my fridge/freezer had stopped working with all the rest. 45 minutes later, the problem was found, everything was working and the faulty element (the rangehood) isolated. The entire intervention was great, fast, effective and very professional, communication was very friendly. When asked, John took time to explain what he was doing and why, and even listened to whatever I had to say about it! I highly recommend his services and plan to give him more jobs. I put 4 stars because of the lack of clarity on the prices.
